Licensed Professional Counselor | LifeStance Health - MN (February 2025-Present)

Providing individual and couples counseling for clients ages 14 and up, using EMDR, CBT, and psychodynamic therapy modalities through a trauma-focused lens. 

Crossroads Counseling and Wellness - TX (May 2021-Present)

  • Licensed Professional Counselor Part-Time (January 2025-Present): Providing telehealth services to individual clients ages 14 and up, utilizing a Rogerian approach and table-top roleplaying therapy techniques. 
  • Owner (July 2022-Present): Acquired Crossroads Counseling Abilene LLC in July of 2022 and changed the name to Crossroads Counseling and Wellness LLC. Continuing managerial duties, such as payroll, bookkeeping, office operations, and other necessary administrative work as needed.
  • Licensed Professional Counselor Full-Time (May 2021-January 2025): Previously provided in-person counseling for ages 3 and up using play therapy, art therapy, Adlerian styles, and EMDR. Also working with couples and families. 
  • Manager (May 2021-July 2022): Managed payroll, bookkeeping, office operations, human resources, scheduling, and other necessary administrative work as needed. 

Regional Victim Crisis Center (August 2023-January 2025)

  • Professional Peer Advocate: Advocated for clinicians, taught self-advocacy skills, and facilitated trainings to improve retention and reduce burnout.
  • Contract Counselor: Supported survivors of crime through crisis counseling, advocacy, and court accompaniment using trauma-informed services and referrals to community resources.

Regional Victim Crisis Center (May 2018-February 2020)

    • Licensed Professional Counselor - Associate (September 2019-February 2020): Managed a caseload of approximately fifteen clients, including children, adolescents, and adults. Additionally, provided advocacy, trial prep, and court accompaniment. 
    • Case Manager (June 2019-September 2019): Completed intakes with clients seeking services, evaluated clients to determine their eligibility for counseling and gathered the necessary information to assist them with community resources and advocacy. Worked alongside Child Protective Investigations, the Abilene Police Department, the Child Advocacy Center, Forensic Nurse Examiners, and the District Attorney's Office to provide comprehensive services. 
    • Counseling Intern (May 2018-May 2019): Counseled a variety of client concerns for survivors of violent crimes focusing on building coping techniques and processing prior traumas. Additionally, provided on-call medical accompaniments on the evenings and weekends.

    Match Support Specialist | Big Brothers Big Sisters (January 2017-October 2018)

    As a Match Support Specialist, I designed the newsletter, planned and organized events, and maintained the safety and health of ninety matches by visiting each Big and Little, completing surveys, and working with the MSS team to ensure that all matches were managed efficiently.

Manager for JUST Chapel and JUST Educational Trips (2015-2016)

Coordinated weekly chapels, and planned bi-monthly trips to Dallas for students to learn about urban poverty. Coordinated with faculty and organizations in Dallas that provided unique experiences for the students.

"Be The Change" Celebration Project Manager (2014-2015)

Managed a "Be The Change" celebration for the two-hundred students involved in the DFC program. Worked with a five-thousand-dollar budget, hired entertainment, worked with a team to create videos for each group, organized the three-hour schedule, and organized a carnival included in the event for the students.

Design for Change Teacher and Curriculum Writer (2014-2015)

Taught students in low-income communities about empowerment, helped them complete a project, and helped them share their completed project with their community. Co-authored the curriculum writing with two other authors to plan lessons for thirteen groups and six grades over the course of an academic year.

Learned about urban poverty, researched the roots of urban poverty, and moved to Dallas my sophomore year to implement the research previously conducted.
